Monthly Challenge

I am going to start doing monthly challenges for sewSpun. If you want to join me in my crafty goals  then please do!  Obviously some of my goals will be something you might not be able to do. For example if you are not a spinner then my  yarn challenges won’t work for you. So pick one or all of them and go with it. Or just challenge  yourself for something else.

I am doing a show at the end of March so my challenge for this month is a little lofty.

-make 200 tags

-spin an average of 5 new skeins a week

-try a new pattern (this could be for sewing, knitting, or anything else)

I know a lady who knows how to sew and quilt and knit and crochet and tat and macrame and a whole bunch of things I never heard about. Your mom taught me how to do most of these things and obviously you were listening in as you seem to have taken it to a whole new level.
I applaud your ability to practice your art, raise a family, be a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend and still have time to blog about it. Love, Dad
